Innovative solutions.
In our role as the broker of community solutions that create economic prosperity, the
Greater Santa Ana Business Alliance
is developing a comprehensive regional plan for housing.
- Ongoing Alliance efforts in the community have established a foundation of integrity, trust and confidence with various constituent groups. Our major partners are the City of Santa Ana and the First American Corporation.
- The
Greater Santa Ana Business Alliance
supports citywide land use and planning policies that encourage economic growth. At the city's request, we are now engaging in a cooperative effort to help attract businesses and design streamlined planning and permitting processes. Learn more.
- Workforce housing is a critical issue in central Orange County. With First American, we are creating model programs for first-time homebuyers and employer-assisted housing projects to provide new opportunities for workers and to ensure a stable workforce. Learn more.
A win-win scenario.
Home ownership strengthens the local economy and represents self-sufficiency and independence. Through the Alliance's High School Inc. Academies and English Works projects, central Orange County workers and residents will benefit from language and technical skills training programs that enable them to obtain good jobs, improve their earning capacity, raise their incomes, and purchase their own homes. More high school graduates will fill better-paying jobs and have more career-path opportunities. As the local per-capita average wage level rises, the entire community will benefit from increased prosperity.
